Encounter Spring 2021 Registration (Online)

Our Spring 2021 curriculum is based on the 2018 Life Lessons from Philippians book by Max Lucado. Writing from prison, Paul encourages the Philippians - and us - to live courageously and joyously. Join us as we dive deep into this wonderful book of the Bible and explore how to apply the truths to our lives. At home preparation will include inductive study of up to 21 verses per week and completing the corresponding Bible study lesson. We will have online small group discussions each week to get to know one another and to share our discoveries and questions. There is no registration fee for the Spring semester. Registration is required.

All women will need to purchase the study book on their own prior to January, 11, 2021. Please note: we are using the 2018 version of the book, not the 2007 version. We do not recommend purchasing e-books as we will mark up the verses recorded in the book for inductive study.

Offsite
Encounter is offered on Monday evenings, 7-8:15pm, 8-9:15pm and Wednesday mornings, 9-10:15am.

Please note: Every fifth week we break from new lessons and engage in Reflect and Respond (R&R) in small groups. This time involves application of the prior lessons' main texts and often includes sharing of personal information. As a result, we request that new women not attend their first meeting on an R&R day so that they have an opportunity to be integrated into the group beforehand. The R&R days for this semester (the days to avoid attending for your first time) are February 15/17, March 22/24, and May 3/5. Thank you for your understanding.

We never want money to prohibit any women from participating in our programming. If you have a financial need for a scholarship, please fill out this short form and we will get back to you regarding availability of partial scholarships. All requests are kept confidential.
