Online Blackhawk Bible Study Registration (Virtual, open to all)

Registration is open.

This year we will study the book of Exodus, an important narrative for the theology of both Jews and Christians. We will focus on the big themes that inform the rest of the biblical story: redemption, God’s character, God’s action on behalf of His people, and God dwelling with His people. This study will challenge us to think deeply about who God is, what He has done, what He continues to do, and how we are called to respond. We will use a hybrid of the inductive study method (training will be provided) and traditional question and answer. Get ready to dig in as we learn together about God and the story of His people!

Wednesday AM Blackhawk Bible Study, women only, will have live lecture. PM Blackhawk Bible Study and online groups, open to all, will have the opportunity to view lecture stream on their own. All groups will have weekly discussions to share discoveries and questions and get to know one another. Registration is required.

Please note: Every 4-5 weeks we pause new lessons and Reflect and Respond (R&R) in small groups to apply and personalize the prior lessons' main texts. As a result, we request that new attendees avoid their first meeting on an R&R day so that they have an opportunity to be integrated into the group beforehand. The R&R weeks for this year (please avoid attending for your first time) are the weeks of 10/31/22, 12/12/2022, 2/20/2023, 4/3/2023, and 5/8/2023. Thank you for your understanding.

We don't want money to prohibit anyone from participation. If you have a financial need for a scholarship, please fill out this short form and Veronica Hummel will get back to you regarding availability of partial scholarships. All requests are kept confidential.
