Blackhawk Church is hosting a course on Multicultural Worship. It is no secret that black excellence has been ignored, scorned, or resisted in American society. These same perceptions of Black/African American worship and theology have also permeated the minds of those in the Christian Church as well. Yet, it is out of pain and suffering that Gospel music was birthed and has endured the test of time. When the Gospel Fusion Venue was established, the ultimate hope was to create a space where God’s vision for multicultural ministry would be realized in a diverse environment forged by a new kind of worship expression and experience that would resonate across multiple venues and locations at Blackhawk Church and beyond.

This course is being offered in the hope that we will see an infusion of the Gospel music genre and the power contained within it permeating diverse cultures in a manner that transcends divisions, unites the people and church of God, and ultimately brings glory to the kingdom of God in order to reach a community and world devoid of religious harmony and Godly models.
