Note: the group will meet unofficially on zoom Mondays outside of the book study timing, so inquire if you are interested in connecting. This practical, Biblical, & hope-filled study using Surfing for God - Discover the Divine Desire Beneath Sexual Struggle by Michael John Cusick helps us discover the divine desire beneath the sexual struggle men face. The author uses examples from his own life and from his twenty years of counseling experience to show us how the pursuit of empty pleasure is really a search for our heart's deepest desire and the real key to resistance is discovering and embracing the joy we truly want. If you are stuck in a rut of pornography or other sexual struggles, we are a group of men that are here to help. We understand this topic is very difficult to talk about and has historically been associated with great levels of shame. In this group you will find none of that. We are all going through the same struggles ourselves, so we understand what it's like. No matter where you are at on your journey, you are welcome here. This book study requires pre-registration, attendance, the purchase of a book, and the reading of two chapters a week.
