Food for the Hungry seeks to end all forms of human poverty by going to the hard places and walking with the world’s most vulnerable people. Since 2017, Blackhawk Church has partnered with Food for the Hungry by coming alongside the community of Lajastambo in Bolivia. When you sponsor a child, you not only come alongside a child but also alongside their family and the entire community of Lajastambo, Bolivia. You build a relationship with the child and their family while also equipping Food for the Hungry to help the community tackle their biggest obstacles such food, a better education, clean water, and medical treatment.
