Join Cooking For Good - Blackhawk Brader Way as we come alongside our neighbors who have experienced and fled domestic abuse. Once a month, we will prepare a meal in the Blackhawk Brader Way industrial kitchen that will be dropped off and served to guests at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS). Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) works to make Dane County, WI, a safer, more just, more equitable place for people who have experienced domestic violence, their children, and the people who love them. They offer a wide array of crisis intervention and community education/prevention programs, including a 24-hour Help Line, programming for children from violent homes, legal advocacy, support groups, and emergency safety planning.
