Capital High School
serves students in grades 9-12 who are interested in an alternative high school. Capital High focuses on personalized learning to address each student's strengths and areas of growth. Capital High is designed as a small learning community where students are supported through an advisory model to develop core knowledge and skills, while exploring their interests and engaging in post-secondary planning.
Capital HighSchool is partnering with Blackhawk Downtown through Madison Foundation for Public School’s Adopt-a-School program.Serving Opportunities:
- Teach a Mini Course - Share your passion/hobby/career/skill with Capital High Students. 2-4 hours on Wednesdays throughout the year.
- Share Your Story - Participate in career interest interviews, where students have the opportunity to ask you about your post-high school journey. Available on Wednesdays throughout the year.
- Host Service Day Learning - Open the doors of your organization to 20-30 students for a tour and volunteer opportunity, so they can develop their own service projects. December 4 and December 11, 2019 from 10am-12pm.
